 Ruan pottery or 汝窑 is one of the most famous types of Chinese pottery. It is characterized by a blue-greenish, blue or gray glaze with a soft, milky shine. It may have characteristic cracks (but does not have to). It was created in the present-day Henan Province in the city of Ruzhou, hence its name.
